The Orthodox Christian Deaf Association invites clergy, Deaf and hard-of-hearing faithful, families, and friends from across the nation to gather for a powerful weekend of fellowship, worship, and learning.
Centered on the theme “The Word Made Flesh,” this conference will explore Deaf culture within the life of the Church and highlight ongoing efforts to strengthen accessibility in Orthodox parishes. Participants will have the opportunity to witness the introduction of new American Sign Language signs developed for use in the Divine Liturgy, helping to deepen liturgical participation for the Deaf community.
