2011 Diocesan Pastoral Conference

(Clinton, MS)  The 2011 DOS Pastoral Conference will be held here from February 15-17, 2011.  The DOS Diocesan Council will meet on February 14 at 3pm. Archpriest Paul Yerger and the host parish of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church look forward to hosting the event.


The Pastoral Conference hotel will be the Holiday Inn Express in Clinton.  A special Pastoral Conference rate of $75 per night (single or double) is provided with a deadline date for reservations of January 30, 2010.  A limited number of rooms are available so make your reservations early.

In addition to His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, His Grace Bishop Mark, Bishop of Baltimore and Administrator of the Diocese of the South and Archdeacon Kirill Sokolov will all be presenters at the Conference.

All deacons are strongly encouraged to participate in this year’s Pastoral Conference with special presentations and workshops for deacons. 

Clinton, MS is a located next to Jackson, MS, the capital of the state of Mississippi.  Interstate 20 is the major east-west highway.  Several airlines fly into 
Jackson, MS (JAN) including Southwest Airlines.
